The next club meeting will have representatives from the Environment Agency in attendance to discuss the forthcoming tagging project that the club are assisting with on the River Thurne. Please come along, it should be a very interesting evening.
Non members are welcome as usual.
At our next meeting Dennis Moules will be giving a talk and slideshow presentation. Dennis is well known for his captures of large Pike in the Fenland area. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience and his presentations are always interesting.
This meeting will take place on Tuesday December 5th 2023, starting at 8.00pm. The venue is the Woodman Public House, North Walsham Road, Norwich, NR6 7QA.
Please be aware there will be an entry fee for attendance, £4.00 for NDPC/PAC members or £5.00 for non members.

We are changing the dates for our club meetings (previously first Monday of the month) so that they will now be held on the first Tuesday of the month.
This means that our next club meeting will now be on Tuesday 7th November 2023 at the Woodman Pub, North Walsham Road, Norwich, NR6 7QA. The start time will be 8.00pm, as usual both members and non-members are welcome.
We are pleased to update everybody that the previous summer restrictions on pike fishing from NDPC boats have been lifted. Please feel free to contact Phil via the usual method to book access.
Apologies for the very short notice but due to circumstances beyond our control, the Club meeting scheduled for tomorrow (2nd October 2023) has been cancelled. The first meeting of the new Pike season will now be on Monday 6th November 2023, starting at 8.00pm at the Woodman Public House.
NDPC and Region RA33 of the PAC will be holding their first meeting of the new pike season on the 4th September. This will take place at 8.00pm at the Woodman, Norwich. Steve Pitts will be giving a presentation on Eel fishing and conservation. Steve is a very interesting speaker and will be well worth a listen. There will be a charge for the evening of £4.00 for NDPC/PAC members or £5.00 for non-members.
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 22nd May 2023, starting at 8.00pm. The venue will be the Woodman Public House, North Walsham Road, Norwich, NR6 7QA. I will be nice to see you there.
The club meeting on Monday 5th December 2022 will be hosting a presentation by David Horton. Dave is a well established piker with numerous big fish to his name and always an entertaining speaker.
Please reserve this date in your diaries, the cost is £5.00 (£4.00 for NDPC and/or PAC members) payable on the door.

Our first coaching day for young people this season will take place on Sunday 23rd October at Whitlingham Country Park. This event will focus on lure fishing skills, if you know of any youngsters (aged 7 to 16) who may be interested in taking part please contact John Currie on 07776 221959 ASAP to reserve a place.
From Monday 19th September the previous restrictions on Pike fishing from club boats will be lifted as water temperatures are now dropping. Please ensure that fish are treated sensitively and returned to the water as soon as possible after landing.
